Witness a Live Casting at Britain's last Bellfoundry!


Join us for a rare chance to see a live Casting* alongside a guided tour of the Bellfoundry.

*The Casting will either be a Bell or Iron fittings — both equally thrilling to watch. Unfortunately we will not be able to say what it will be until the day.


What to Expect

Your tour begins with a brief introduction to John Taylor & Co.'s rich history before entering the Victorian factory to witness the Full Bellfoundry in action. Highlights include:

  • The covered yard - where bells arrive for restoration.
  • The joinery shop - where craftspeople create bell wheels and carillon claviers.
  • The tuning shop -where the signature Taylor’s bell sound is perfected.
  • The casting hall viewing platform - where you can watch the live casting.


🏛️ Included in your ticket: Entry to our interactive Museum, featuring galleries on the history of bellfounding and the centuries-old processes still used here today.
